Who are we?

The Friends of Nano, South India Province, is an association of individuals collaborating with the Presentation Sisters (PBVMs) to carry forward the charism of Nano Nagle in India. Coming from states of Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu, we address diverse social concerns shaped by our geographical contexts. Our mission is rooted in the core values We are guided in understanding and responding to the needs of our time-just as Nano Nagle did in hers-offering insight, purpose, and a shared commitment for transformative action.

Our Vision

We support and encourage each other to deepen our awareness of the Divine within. We aim to bring about a better quality of life, greater equality and respect for all especially for those whom society has made poor and care of earth and its sustainability

Our Mission

We continue to share in the dream of Nano:
What if we consciously spend ourselves for the poor and for the Earth made poor?
